Sunday Morning

Extreme Kids

At New Hope, we address the spiritual needs of children ages 3 years to 5th grade through two different ministry channels: Sunday morning children's ministries and Wednesday evening "Extreme Kids."

Through these two different avenues of ministry, we bring experiences that focus on the five God-given purposes for believers of any age: Discipleship, Ministry, Evangelism, Worship, and Fellowship.

Discipleship: "I follow Jesus!"
We train each child to grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ and develop Christlike character, wisdom, and faith. (Luke 2:52, 2 Peter 3:18)

Evangelism: "I witness to others about Jesus."
We encourage each child to respond to salvation through the prompting of the Holy Spirit, and then share his/her faith with others. (Matt. 19:14, John 3:16)

Fellowship: "I encourage my friends!"
We train each child to form genuine friendships, and learn to be kind and encouraging to one another. (Proverbs 17:17, 1 John 4:11)

Ministry: "I serve others!"
We train each child to discover unique ways of serving others and recognize that we all have a variety of valuable gifts and abilities that God can use. (1 Corinthians 10:31)

Worship: "I love God!"
We hope to train each child to worship God in Spirit and in truth, and to delight in Him. (John 4:23-24, Psalms 37:4, Romans 12:1, 2)
